Namadgi Park fire raises smoke warning

PEOPLE affected by smoke are being warned of a bushfire near Bendora Dam in Namadgi National Park.

The one hectare in size bushfire, on Bendora Road between Bulls Head picnic area and Bendora Dam, is currently at an “advice” level and should be controlled easily under the current weather conditions, says ACT ESA.

No homes or structures are under threat at this time.

Better to say “No structures are under threat” as the property being threatened is Canberra’s water supply.
