LISTENERS to Canberra’s talk back AM radio station, 2CC, will hear a new voice in the mornings when radio shock jock Alan Jones presents the Alan Jones Breakfast Show from Monday, July 15.
The 2GB icon says he will be rattling a few cages when he presents the breakfast show on 2CC from 5.30am to 9am on weekdays.
“[I’m] looking forward to being with [Canberra listeners] at breakfast time… from July 15,” Alan says.
Alan, who has won more than 200 surveys in the largest radio market in the nation, will be taking Tim Shaw’s morning spot, while Tim will move to 2CC’s “Live and Drive” program, from 3pm to 6pm, weekdays.
This follows the departure of 2CC’s Drive announcer Richard Perno, who returned to Dubbo in early June to present the breakfast show for a radio station he previously worked at.
The general manager of 2CC, Michael Jones says: “Alan Jones on 2CC breakfast is a huge win for Canberra and demonstrates our commitment to keeping Canberrans abreast of the issues that matter to them most.”
