Waste burns at Mugga Lane facility

FIREFIGHTERS are battling a rubbish fire at the Mugga Waste Transfer Facility on Mugga Lane, Symonston.

They were called to the fire at about 9am this morning (October 1).

Firefighters are containing the fire to a large waste bin and will remain on scene until it’s made safe.
