THE Canberra Symphony Orchestra’s “Australian Miniseries” turns the spotlight on 15 Aussie composers through short works for solo instruments. Co-curated by Matthew Hindson and incoming artistic advisor Jessica Cottis, the season continues this week with “Trussed”, composed by Luke Styles and played by David Flynn on double bass, at 6.45pm this Friday, August 7, accessible here. 

THE Street Theatre has a work-in-progress showing online of Dylan Van Den Berg’s play “Milk” at 5pm on Friday, August 7, directed by Gin Savage. Spanning two centuries, it tracks a conversation between three Aboriginal ancestors stranded together on a metaphysical Flinders Island off the coast of Tasmania. Limited places, bookings here.

MEGALO Print Studio’s latest online exhibition, “Intaglio”, has prints on show by 40 selected artists from around the world. The works will be viewable via megalo.org until September 5.

CHRIS Endrey’s weekly talk show, “The World From Here” will go live this Friday, August 7, to mark the conclusion of Canberra Theatre Centre’s digital season, CTC@Home. Audiences will be able to watch the final episode live in the Link Bar, followed by a gig featuring Endrey and friends.
