First coronavirus case confirmed in the ACT

CANBERRA has its first case of the coronavirus, confirmed Chief Minister Andrew Barr at a press conference this morning (March 12).

Mr Barr was quoted by ABC Canberra saying the person infected is a man in his 30s.

He became unwell on March 10 and went to a Weston Creek walk-in centre on Wednesday, with results confirmed positive this morning, he said.
