Gang member charged for Kambah fire

A CANBERRA Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) member has been arrested in relation to a house fire in Kambah late last year. 

The 31-year-old gang member was arrested today (February 19) at a Kaleen residence, charged with offences including aggravated burglary, arson, participating in a criminal group, and committing an act which endangers life.

The man is believed to have entered the home Chirnside Place home on November 21 and deliberately set the house on fire.

Two residents exited the house unharmed.

Two vehicles at the premises also had damage unrelated to the fire.

The man will face charges at the ACT Magistrates court.
