Gang sets fire to boat in Higgins

A BOAT was set alight in Higgins on Sunday (July 12) in what police suspect was an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) related incident. 

They were called to the boat fire on Ashburner Street at about 10.17pm. 

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage from the vicinity between 10pm-11pm on Sunday.

Anyone with information can contact ACT Policing on 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800333 000,or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference number 6574221.
