Hackett man robs salon, restaurant and bridal store

OVER a five day period, a man and a woman robbed businesses and stole cars across the ACT. 

The man, 40, of Hackett, allegedly robbed a hair salon in Dickson last Tuesday (October 20), a restaurant in Braddon, October 21, and a cafe in Bruce on October 24. He also stole vehicles on October 22 and 24.

Police allege the woman, 31, was involved in the vehicle theft on October 24 and a burglary at a bridal store in Fyshwick on October 25.

The pair was arrested in Flynn yesterday afternoon (October 28), and several items of property suspected of being stolen were located by police during the arrest.

They will face charges in the ACT Magistrates Court.

Investigations into other recent aggravated burglaries across the ACT are continuing.
