NIGHT work will close the northbound lanes of Northbourne Avenue between Macarthur Avenue and Mouat Street tomorrow (September 30) and Thursday, October 1.
There will be noise associated with this work, according to the Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate, but they say every effort will be made to complete the noisiest works by 11pm each night.
The works will be carried out between 8pm and 6am, weather permitting, and will include road resurfacing work.
The directorate says detour signage will be in place.
Murdoch Street will remain closed in both directions between Goodwin Street and Northbourne Avenue. Access will be maintained for residents of the street and construction vehicles only.
