Woman assaulted in drunken Gilmore ‘scuffle’

“SEVERAL” people were taken into custody for being drunken and disorderly in a public space in Gilmore early yesterday (July 5) morning. 

Police were called to the licensed premises on Isabella Drive after reports of a woman being physically assaulted at about 12.05am.

On arrival, police say there were a number of minor scuffles.

They are currently investigating the assault of the woman and are seeking witnesses or footage.

Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6568319.
