All is quiet at Seiffert Oval testing clinic

No queues at the Seiffert Oval testing clinic in Queanbeyan.

QUEANBEYAN residents who need a covid test are being encouraged to visit the Seiffert Oval drive through clinic, which has extra staff on duty and no queues today (August 20).

The advice comes from the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) following Queanbeyan’s first two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in more than 12 months that were detected yesterday.

Contact tracing revealed one of these cases visited Queanbeyan Woolworths and Amcal Pharmacy in Queanbeyan between 9am and 11.30am on August 16.

Anyone who attended these venues at the time is considered a casual contact and is being urged by SNSWLHD to get tested and isolate until a negative result is confirmed.
