Bonner shooting: Images reveal suspected offenders

POLICE have released face-fit images of two men believed to be involved in the aggravated burglary and shooting of a man in Bonner on June 27. 

At about 5.45pm the offenders attempted to get into the home on Roy Marika Street.

After a short struggle, a shot was fired by one of the offenders which struck the occupant in the leg. The offenders then fled the location.

The man suffered a minor wound and was taken to hospital.

Police are calling for witnesses who may be able to identify either of two men police believe were involved in the incident.

Detectives would also like to speak with anyone who saw a white hatch-back in the area of Bonner between 5.30pm and 6.20pm that day.

Anyone who can identify either of the men, saw the white hatch-back, or has any information that could assist police, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference number 6834618.
