Bursting out for a break from lockdown

The warm afternoon weather brought out Canberras in their socially distanced hordes today (September 11).

With the temperatures reaching the predicted 22C by late afternoon, picnicking by small groups of people around Lake Burley Griffin was especially popular.

The Yarralumla dog park car park was full to bursting and there were lots of cars cruising in and out of Weston Park.
