Cases detected in Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Batemans Bay

THREE new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Queanbeyan, including one in Googong.
During the NSW covid announcement this morning (September 6) NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro said two of the Queanbeyan cases are believed to be linked to the ACT.
It’s understood the Googong case is a close contact of the confirmed case detected in Googong last week.
Two new covid cases have been detected in Goulburn. It’s understood that one of the cases is currently isolating in western NSW where they work.
Mr Barilaro also confirmed an additional case in Batemans Bay and Cooma taking the total number of cases in the Southern NSW local health district to seven.
