A FIRE at an electric battery storage facility on Geelong Street, Fyshwick, closed a number of roads in the area yesterday afternoon (July 14), according to the ACT Emergency Services Agency.
ACT Fire & Rescue extinguished the fire just before 9pm.
Crews patrolled the scene throughout the night and in to the morning, ensuring there were no re-ignitions.
The scene has been handed back to the owner an all surrounding tenancies remain open and Geelong Street is open.
The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
