SOCIAL golf, tennis and rowing will return as part of a minor change to lockdown restrictions, according to ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr.
The news comes as the chief minister announced that the lockdown will be extended until October 15 and the territory reported 22 new cases, 13 of which were infectious in the community.
Mr Barr said contactless click-and-collect, real estate viewings and increased outdoor sporting, such as golf, tennis and rowing, will be allowed this weekend.
Coaching, training, competitions and other organised sports remained banned under the restrictions.
A mid-point review of the directions will be conducted after two weeks.
