Googong tops the southern NSW covid numbers

QUEANBEYAN-Palerang’s new covid cases continue to rise with 21 new cases reported today (December 29), including nine in Googong.

They were among the 39 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in southern NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

The 21 in the Queanbeyan Palerang LGA comprised two new cases in Karabar, nine in Googong, two in Carwoola, two in Crestwood, three in Jerrabomberra, two in Queanbeyan and one in Bungendore.

Elsewhere there was:

  • One new case the Yass Valley LGA (Murrumbateman).
  • One in the Upper Lachlan LGA (Wheeo).
  • Six in the Goulburn Mulwaree LGA. One in Tarago, one in Wayo and four in Goulburn.
  • Four in the Snowy Monaro LGA. One in Bombala, one in Thredbo and two in Jindabyne.
  • Six are in the Eurobodalla LGA. One in Woodlands, one in Batehaven, two in Narooma and two in Moruya.
