ACT government sportgrounds, which have been closed since Friday (July 23) due to the wet weather, reopened yesterday for matches but continue to stay closed for training.
Continued closures for training purposes include turf sportsgrounds but exclude the Melrose and Nicholls synthetic fields and the Woden athletics track.
The decision was made late last week to minimise further damage to turf surfaces.
The condition of the grounds will continue to be assessed with another update to be announced.
