Nicholls house fire under control

FIREFIGHTERS have gained control of a house fire on Tazewell Circuit in Nicholls this morning (December 13).

Tazewell Circuit was closed in both directions while emergency services were on the scene.

Crews have extinguished the fire and are working to make the scene safe.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room of origin.

Police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
