Hot-air balloon goes down in Lyons

The balloon operated by Balloons Aloft that dropped into Lyons on Saturday morning.

Transportation safety officials are investigating the crash of a hot-air balloon in Lyons.

It came down Saturday morning at 9.20am causing minor damage to three properties.

The passengers were not injured.

Emergency services attended the scene and the balloon passengers were able to climb out without injury.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating

The balloon was operated by Canberra company Balloons Aloft,

The company has been running hot-air balloon flights for 35 years.
