A 47-year-old man has been charged after he was found with a replica gun in Woden on Thursday afternoon.
The man, who appeared to have a gun concealed under his jacket, was confronted by staff in a restricted area of the Woden Westfield shopping centre.
He was wearing clothing and items with the word “security” on them.
Police were called and the man was arrested on Melrose Drive. He was charged with unauthorised possession of a firearm.
