Man extradited from NSW on sexual assault charges

Officers escort the handcuffed man extradited from NSW at the Civic police station.

The owner of a male-stripping business has been extradited from NSW after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in Canberra two years ago.

Police allege the man travelled to Canberra in July 2023 for a show his company was hosting in Civic and met the woman at a hotel room in Dickson after the event.

At the hotel, the man allegedly sexually assaulted the woman and then recorded her and another woman without their consent.

The incident was reported to police in 2024 and on Thursday, a search warrant was executed at the man’s home in Camden, NSW.

He was arrested and faced court in NSW where his extradition to the ACT was granted. He has been charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
