Canberra’s three government-run seasonal outdoor pools will reopen over the next fortnight, following more than $400,000 in winter maintenance and upgrades.

The ACT government says Manuka Pool will reopen on Saturday (October 24), followed by Dickson Pool on October 31 and Canberra Olympic Pool’s outdoor facilities on November 1.

Upgrades at Dickson include three new electric barbecues, landscaping and repainting around the toddler pool.

Maintenance and improvement works have also been carried out at Manuka Pool, which first opened in 1931.
