Labor to support Kulture Break – if elected

FURTHER TO  our recent story about pressure at Kulture Break, (http://citynews.com.au/2016/kulture-break-pressure/) ACT Labor is keen to highlights its election promise of  funding for the  community arts organisation.

If  re-elected, an  ACT Labor Government has, in its recently announced policy,  committed to  provide $105,000 over three years engaging to fund the ongoing work of Kulture Break.

“Kulture Break is committed to the wellbeing, transformation and empowerment of young people by young people in a safe, active and productive environment using dance as a form of personal expression,” a Labor spokesman has told “Citynews.”

And if there’s ever a poem inside you – write it!

"Hodo saves lives. I have never once heard him or any of hundreds of new arrivals in Canberra ask what their country can do for them. They give and give, and live their gratitude in a way I’m too selfish to,"writes ANTONIO DI DIO
