THE “Doyenne of Drag”, Courtney Act is coming to the National Gallery of Australia tonight (April 3) to celebrate the launch of “Cartier: The Exhibition”.

In what gallery staff are billing as a “Queenstameet”, Courtney will give an introduction on the subject of “Exotic Fantasies”, followed by a private viewing of the show.

The after-hours event features “a decadent dessert bar, cocktails for the carefree [and] a romantic playlist”.

It’s a chance to see the world’s most famous jewels up close.

“Queenstameet” with Courtney Act, at the NGA, 7.30pm–9.30pm tonight, April 3. Bookings to nga.gov.au
