EARLY this morning (August 28) firefighters were called to a car fire in the carport of a two storey unit block on the corner of Lambrigg Street and Pridham Street in Farrer.
ACT Fire & Rescue arrived at the fire at about 2am and contained it to the car and the carport.
The blaze didn’t reach the building but there was smoke and heat damage to the unit.
Firefighters are conducting atmospheric testing to ensure it is safe for residents to return to the property.
