Wright residents woken by early morning gun shots

POLICE are investigating a shooting in Wright after gunshots woke residents in the area early this morning (June 15). 

Cops were called to Max Jacobs Avenue after receiving reports of gunshots at about 1am. 

No one was injured but police are urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity in Wright last night or this morning to contact police.

Anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam footage or information that could assist police can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference number 6553845.
