THE Thai Music Festival kicks-off on Wednesday – celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Australia.
Headlining the festival is two Thai ensembles: Korphai, a traditional Thai percussion ensemble and Boy Thai who blend samba, bossa nova and modern jazz with traditional Thai music.
The festival will also feature a film screening of the Thai musical drama “The Overture”, which includes a soundtrack by Kor Phai and a one-day public symposium and a public concert in Llewelyn Hall.
