ACT covid hospital numbers drop

THERE are currently 23 people in the ACT hospitalised with COVID-19, down from the 28 reported yesterday (January 11).

Three of those currently hospitalised are in intensive care and two are on ventilators.

The territory recorded 1078 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday, bringing the total active cases to 5601.

There were 3586 negative test results received in the ACT in the 24 hours to 9am today.

ACT residents aged 18 and over who have had their booster vaccination now number 25.6 per cent.
