QPRC’s new covid numbers stay low

THERE have been 37 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region today (January 14), according to today’s figures from the Southern NSW Local Health District.

Throughout the entire district there were 180 new covid cases reported bringing the total active cases to 3304 and total cases since June 2021 to 5082.

There are currently 28 people in the district hospitalised with the virus, four of whom are in intensive care.

Elsewhere in Southern NSW there are:

  • 30 new cases in the Bega Valley
  • 53 in Eurobodalla
  • 30 in Goulburn Mulwaree
  • 11 in the Snowy Monaro
  • 8 in the Upper Lachlan and
  • 11 in the Yass Valley
