Pedestrian rushed to hospital after being hit by tram

A PERSON has been taken to hospital with “serious” injuries after being hit by a tram on Northbourne Avenue this morning (June 24).

The incident took place about 7.30am near Condamine street.

Emergency Services have confirmed the injuries are serious. It is understood the person hit is a man. His condition is unknown at this time.
