Canberra’s daily covid case numbers fall back

THE number of daily covid cases in the ACT has fallen by 30 per cent today (July 3) although hospital numbers remain high.

ACT Health is reporting 1031 (514 PCR and 517 RAT) new cases compared with yesterday’s 1339. The number of active cases in Canberra stands at 7375.

Civid hospital numbers are today reported to be 130 ( 131 yesterday and a record high of 138 on Friday). There are four people in intensive care. None require ventilation.
