Nominal Systems tops the export awards

Winners are grinners…. Chief Minister Andrew Barr with the winners of this year’s export awards.

NOMINAL Systems has taken out the 2022 ACT Exporter of the Year Award, in today’s (September 21) ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards ceremony.

Nominal Systems is a Canberra-based digital engineering solutions provider specialising in space and defence.

Also taking out a win in the Advanced Technologies award category, their digital engineering platform, Nominal, helps organisations rapidly explore, understand and optimise their products and processes in a safe-to-fail environment.

The Export Awards operate as a two-tier process. The winner of each category in the ACT Chief Minister’s Export Award program progresses as finalists in the Australian Export Awards.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr said growing the ACT’s exports was critical to expanding and diversifying the Canberra economy.

Virtual freelance communications agency Catch the Sun Communications won the Creative Industries category, while mobile remittance service Rocket Remit won the E-Commerce Award.

Biometrics company BixeLav won both the Emerging Exporter and Exporting Government Solutions awards, while cybersecurity company Teron Labs won the Professional Services category.

Finally, the Resources and Energy award was won by security and software company Ardexa, and Racing and Sports claimed the Small Business award category.
