Three weeks without a covid death

THE ACT has recorded its third consecutive week without any covid related deaths.

In its weekly COVID-19 update, ACT health reported there were 730 new cases of the virus, 339 via PCR and 391 via RATs.

Active case numbers reached 406 while 69 people were in hospital.

No covid related deaths were recorded during the latest reporting period. The last covid associated death in the ACT was reported on September 2.

On the vaccination front, 77.6 per cent of young people aged five to 15 have received two doses of a vaccine.
