Witnesses sought to road rage assault

THE driver of a white Holden Commodore sedan was assaulted on Belconnen Way in September, following a road rage incident.

The man was travelling south on Gungahlin Drive, along with an orange Commodore ute and a grey Toyota Hilux, on September 28.

Around 9.20pm the people in the orange ute began throwing things at the white Commodore and indicating for the man to pull over.

A short time later, all three vehicles pulled off Gungahlin Drive and onto Belconnen Way, before coming to a stop on the side of the road.

The driver of the Hilux then allegedly assaulted the driver of the white Commodore.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam footage, on 1800 333 000.
