Sportsgrounds dry enough to re-open

ALL ACT government turf sportsground will re-open for training and match play today (October 12).

The government says the dry weather in the last few days has allowed the grounds to drain sufficiently to enable safe use.

However, more rain is forecast toward the end of the week and may impact the safe use of the grounds across the weekend.

The state of playing surfaces will be monitored closely, and a decision about the weekend will follow.
