Stolen car rams power substation

AREAS of Hume were without electricity after a stolen, white, Ford Meteor, with two occupants, ran into an ActewAGL electricity substation in the suburb early on Saturday morning.

Police are seeking witnesses to the event which occurred around 3am on Tralee Street, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and substation.
