NCA chief executive to resign in February

NCA chief executive, Sally Barnes

CHIEF executive of the National Capital Authority (NCA) Sally Barnes has announced she will be resigning on February 29.

Ms Barnes has been in the role for six years, and previously worked as Director of National Parks at Parks Australia, and as Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Environment and Heritage in the NSW government.

Minister for Regional Development, Local Government and Territories, Kristy McBain thanked Ms Barnes in a statement, for her leadership and dedication to public services.

“Under Ms Barnes’ leadership, the NCA has delivered on a range of significant projects that continue to life the prominence of the nation’s capital and directly benefit the community,” says McBain.

“I wish her every success for the next stage of her career.”
