The aftermath of the Spence carport fire.

A CARPORT, storage rooms and three vehicles were destroyed in a deliberately lit night fire at a Spence home, with police estimating the damage at more than $100,000.

At about 10.30pm on November 18 police and fire crews were called to the fire in O’Neill Street.

“This deliberately lit fire placed people’s homes at risk and is a mindless act,” he said.

“We know there are people in the community with information about this incident and they should contact Crime Stoppers as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information should call 1800 333000 or via Crime Stoppers ACT website
