Man dies in Pialligo Avenue collision

THE ACT road toll stands at four following the death of a 30-year-old Queanbeyan man in a two-vehicle collision on Pialligo Avenue on Wednesday morning.

At about 9.10am a Holden Astra hatchback and a Nissan Patrol SUV collided between Scherger Drive and Oaks Estate Road, Majura. The man, the Astra driver, died at the scene.

The occupants of the Nissan Patrol , a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage of Pialligo Avenue in the lead-up to the collision. Call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
