Enthusiastic cast puts Jack back on stage

An enthusiastic youth cast from Child Players ACT will be performing Jack and the Beanstalk – The Musical to almost 1400 Canberrans this week.

The company, directed  by BJ Anyos, has been providing theatre education and entertainment for the young, and young at heart, for almost 20 years. It also uses its platform to raise funds for reputable charities.

The productions are the result of the Drama School Holiday Program, that gives students aged 8 – 17 years the opportunity to perform in a full-scale musical production with only a two-week commitment. No previous acting, singing or dancing experience is required.

Jack and the Beanstalk – The Musical, Belconnen Community Theatre, 23 Swanson Ct, Belconnen, 11am and 2pm, July 18-20.
