VH-X4C has arrived in Canberra, the third Qantas A220 jet.
It’s been undergoing final maintenance matters to be given the green light to enter service within the coming days.
Each A220 jet will be named after Australian wildlife.
In this case, the VH-X4C has been given the name Little Red Flying-Fox.
The aircraft is significantly more fuel efficient than previous generation aircraft.
The first of this type of plane entered the fleet earlier this year, flying between Canberra and Melbourne.
Having flown as a paying passenger on this flight, I can confirm, the interior is well thought out, giving greater sense of space. It also makes conditions far more comfortable, especially with its large windows and overhead lockers.
