A 58-year-old man was arrested after police seized drugs during a search of his Reid home on Friday morning.
He has been charged with drug trafficking after police and drug-detection dogs searched the Ainslie Avenue residence.
Police say the swoop follows an investigation into the source of illicit drugs being trafficked in the city area.
They seized:
- Clear bags containing a white crystalline substance, believed to be methamphetamine,
- Several bags containing a white powder, believed to be cocaine,
- Multiple mobile phones,
- Shotgun shells,
- Multiple identify cards not belonging to the 58-year-old man,
- Suspected cannabis matter, and
- Other drug paraphernalia.
The man faces the ACT Magistrates Court charged with possessing a prohibited substance, possessing ammunition, and trafficking in a controlled drug.
