Police want to speak to the rideshare driver who may have transported eight men believed to be involved in a series of assaults and robberies at a dance party near Sutton Road, Kowen Forest, early on September 29.
The group fled the scene in a rideshare vehicle, possibly a silver Kia Carnival or similar, before police and emergency services arrived.
At the time, victims and witnesses told police a group of men of Pacific Islander appearance and dressed in black attended the party in a silver van and began demanding cash and items of value from party goers. Multiple robbery and assault victims were identified by police and two people were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Following investigations, police now believe at least 20 people were robbed or assaulted during the incident.
Police, who have identified a group of suspects, are looking for the rideshare driver who picked up the alleged offenders and took them to the Canberra CBD.
Anyone who can assist police should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
