Ahead of its 2025–26 ACT Budget, the government has announced spending across Gungahlin.
How much is not disclosed, but includes paying for early works for the development of a new health centre and future infrastructure, such as potential community facilities and a new Emergency Services Station, in Casey.
The 2025–26 Budget spending in Gungahlin also lists:
- A new playground at the local shops in Amaroo.
- Upgrades at the Palmerston group centre shops, enhancing accessibility, safety and public amenity.
- New cricket nets at Bonner Oval.
- Female-friendly change room upgrades at the Gungahlin Enclosed Oval (Crinigan Circle) and Harrison Oval.
- A new walking and cycling path along Victoria Street in Hall.
