Two men will face court following separate choking and punching incidents in Civic nightclubs early on Sunday morning.
Police allege a 38-year-old from Ngunnawal allegedly grabbed a man by the throat who had accidently bumped him in a nightclub around 4am, causing the man to fall to the ground unconscious.
The alleged offender has been charged with choking person and rendering them insensible, and affray.
Police also responded to an alleged coward punch incident in a nightclub when, around 1.50am, a man was knocked unconscious after being punched in the head several times quickly and without notice by a 20-year-old Victorian man.
The Victorian was arrested and has been charged with affray.
