A 26-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault after his flatmate reported him to police.
On Tuesday, the woman told police she had been sexually assaulted by her flatmate on July 18.
Police searched the man’s home on Friday and arrested him.
He has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, common assault, act of indecency without consent and choking, suffocating, strangling another person.
