A safe space for women’s wellbeing

The Salon CBR founder, Phoebe Morrison.

A new women-only studio in Fyshwick is creating a safe and welcoming environment where women can explore their health, wellbeing and sexual confidence with dignity and privacy, says founder PHOEBE MORRISON in this sponsored post.

Now open, The Salon CBR is the vision of founder Phoebe Morrison, who has created the space to support women seeking education, connection and access to thoughtfully curated sexual wellness products.

Designed exclusively for women, the studio offers a calm, respectful setting where conversations around sex and wellbeing can take place openly and without judgement.

Phoebe says the creation of The Salon CBR was driven by a clear gap in the market, a lack of spaces where women felt genuinely comfortable exploring their sexual health and wellbeing.

“I created The Salon CBR because women deserve a space that feels safe, private and completely free of judgement,” Phoebe says. “Sexual wellbeing is an essential part of overall health, yet so many women have never had access to a place where they can learn, explore and ask questions in a supportive environment.”

The Salon CBR combines retail, education and community, allowing women to explore products and resources that support sexual wellbeing, intimacy and confidence. Women can visit the Fyshwick studio or shop online, offering flexibility and privacy for those who prefer to explore from home.

Importantly, the studio is about far more than retail. Phoebe has built The Salon CBR around education and empowerment, recognising that many women have had limited access to reliable information about their own sexual wellbeing.

“Women have spent far too long feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed talking about sex,” Phoebe says. “This space exists to normalise those conversations and give women access to education and resources that support their confidence and wellbeing.”

Education plays a central role in that mission. The Salon CBR provides access to coaching through Her Pleasure Studio, along with educational content designed to help women better understand their bodies, relationships and overall wellbeing. This approach reflects Phoebe’s belief that knowledge and confidence are key to empowering women.

Equally important is the sense of community the studio creates. The Salon CBR offers a welcoming environment where women can connect, share experiences and support one another in a safe and respectful setting.

“There’s something incredibly powerful about women coming together in a space where they feel understood and supported,” Phoebe says. “It’s about creating a sense of community where women can prioritise themselves and their wellbeing.”

The studio’s events program reflects that focus on connection and education. Upcoming events include a DIY Sexy Selfie Workshop on April 12 encourages confidence, creativity and positive self-image.

These events are designed to foster open conversations about sex, wellbeing and confidence in a safe and supportive environment, helping women feel more informed, comfortable and empowered.

By creating a women-only space, Phoebe has ensured The Salon CBR remains focused on its core purpose: supporting women’s health, sexual wellbeing and confidence. Visitors can explore resources, learn through education and access curated products in a setting that prioritises privacy and respect.

As Canberra continues to embrace more open conversations around women’s health and wellbeing, The Salon CBR represents an important step forward. Through retail, education and community, Phoebe has created a space where women can explore their sexual wellbeing with confidence, safety and support.

In doing so, The Salon CBR is not just a retail studio, it is a dedicated community space where women’s health, confidence and wellbeing are placed firmly at the centre of the conversation.
