Two businesses in Fyshwick were targeted in ram raids early Monday, with a stolen ute later found burning in Kambah.
Police say a white Ford Ranger was captured on CCTV crashing into the front of a business in Wollongong Street about 3.55am before multiple items were stolen.
About the same time, a white Mitsubishi Pajero was allegedly reversed into the roller door of another business in the same street before a cash register was stolen.
Police spotted the Ford Ranger shortly afterwards but terminated a pursuit over safety concerns.
The ute, which had been stolen from a business in Marconi Crescent, Kambah, earlier that morning, was found burning near Kambah Pool Road about 4.40am.
The Pajero has not been located.
Anyone who saw either vehicle or has dash-cam footage from early Monday is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
