With over 6,000 individuals participating in Australian National Eisteddfod events this year, it was time  for the Eisteddfod to thank sponsors and volunteers for their efforts at an afternoon tea held in the Ainslie Arts Centre.

Serenaded by Steve Allen on guitar, reminiscences flowed through the afternoon as  volunteers and sponsors mingled shared their views about the  the  Eisteddfod events impacts upon  the community.

During the afternoon,  three long term eisteddfod devotees, Simon Best, Doris Rowland and Brian White,  were appointed as  life members.

The Eisteddfod, which offers events in Bands & Orchestras, Choirs, Instrumental, Piano, Singing, and Speech & Drama, is always  seeking new sponsors, volunteers and members.
